Great result for all concerned today when Pretty Mama broke her drought at Geelong in the DMB Excavation & Haulage BM58 Handicap 2418m.

Given a good ride by Patrick Moloney settling back in the field early to find her feet she appreciated the rolling tempo, she travelled comfortable throughout given she is not a big fan on being crowded up, getting to about the 800m she looked to be going very well and with little room to move Patrick sat patiently until it was time to go and that she did in good fashion running away with a 2 length margin.

It was an impressive effort today and on the back of a good run at Mornington last start where she stepped up for connections to run away today.

She will only improve on her win and by stepping up in journey she should continue her form throughout the summer months ahead.
