BIG GREY NO LONGER CHASING FIRST WIN

Well, it took more than two years and 29 starts but stable favorite
Chasing Drama finally enjoyed his moment in the sun, notching his first win
in the Bowens Maiden Handicap (2100m) at Echuca.

The horse is owned outright by Frank and his win can only be described as a
great reward for patience and persistence.

The five-year-old settled worse than midfield but came with a well-timed
run under Dean Holland to win by a length.

Chasing Drama would have to be one of the toughest horses in training, His
current campaign started almost 12 months ago to the day, Since  October 5
last year he's had 18 starts, including a couple over the jumps, and put
the writing on the wall that a win was just around the corner, with a close
second at Mildura two starts ago.

Interestingly, it wasn't actually the first time the big Grey has been
first past the post,he won a hurdle trial at Traralgon during the winter!

His win was the second in as many days for the stable, after Star Approach
got the money a big odds at Swan Hill.
